Shield, Heat: Installation

  1. Position the heat shields.
  2. Install the fastener and tighten securely (1).
  3. Install the resonator/muffler assembly. Refer to MUFFLER, EXHAUST, INSTALLATION .
  4. Remove the support and lower the vehicle Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  5. Start the engine and inspect for exhaust leaks. Repair exhaust leaks as necessary.
