948TE/9HP48 Automatic Transmission (Service Information): Cover: Installation

1. Install the cover plate (2) with a NEW gasket.
2. Install the cover plate bolts and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
3. Check the transmission fluid level. Refer to FLUID AND FILTER, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
4. Install the left inner splash shield (Refer to 23 - Body/Exterior/SHIELD, Splash, Wheel House/Installation).
5. Install the left front wheel and tire assembly (Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, FRONT WHEELHOUSE .
