Sensor, Camshaft Position: Removal: 5.7L/6.4L

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the engine cover.

  3. Disconnect the Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor wire harness connector (4).
    NOTE:

    Using a slight rotating motion, to carefully remove the CMP sensor from the timing cover (2).

  4. Remove bolt (3) and the CMP sensor (1).
