Fan, Cooling: Installation: 2.4L

  1. Tilt the top of the cooling fan towards the engine, then lower the cooling fan down into position. The lower tabs (2) will slide into the receivers on the radiator to properly hold the bottom of the fan against the radiator core.
  2. Tilt the fan forward against the radiator.
  3. Install the two fan bolts (1) and tighten the bolts to the proper torque specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Install the wire harness loom tie to the fan shroud (3).
  5. Connect the cooling fan wire harness connector (4).
  6. Install the upper radiator hose at the radiator neck and securely tighten the clamp.

  7. Install the upper front fascia closeout (2) and the ten push fasteners (1).

  8. Install the belly pan (3). Refer to BELLY PAN, INSTALLATION .
  9. Connect the negative battery cable.
