Module, Keyless Ignition Node: Installation

  1. Insert the Keyless Ignition Node (KIN) through the proper opening in the instrument panel. Do not seat this by snapping this into position until you have connected the body harness wiring connector (2) to the KIN (1).

  2. Once the connector is secured to the KIN (1), push the KIN into the trim panel opening until it is properly seated.
  3. Install the instrument panel center bezel. Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL, CENTER, INSTALLATION .
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
  5. Program the RF Hub if the KIN was replaced. Refer to MODULE, RADIO FREQUENCY (RF HUB), MODULE PROGRAMMING .
