Module, Comfort Seat And Wheel: Removal: Removal

CAUTION:

The Heated Seat Module mounting tab can be damaged during module removal and installation. Use care to properly align tab to prevent binding that could result in tab breakage.

  1. Position the driver front seat to the full rearward position.
  2. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  3. If necessary, remove both front seat to floor retaining bolts to lift front seat and gain access to the underside of the seat.

  4. Disconnect all wiring harness connectors (3) from the Comfort Seat and Wheel Module (CSWM) assembly (2).
  5. Unsnap the CSWM retaining tab (1) from the seat pan.
  6. Remove the CSWM from the vehicle.
