Module, Electric Power Steering: Installation: Installation

  1. Install the steering gear (1) onto the crossmember (3).
  2. Install the steering gear to crossmember bolts (4) and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Install the front suspension crossmember (3). Refer to CROSSMEMBER, FRONT SUSPENSION, INSTALLATION .
    NOTE:

    If removed, install the power transfer unit. Refer to  INSTALLATION  . 

  4. If a NEW  steering gear is installed, programming is required. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
