Module, Power Inverter: Removal: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.

- Unsnap the upper end of the floor duct (1) from the outlet on the left end of the heater and air conditioner distribution housing. Refer to DUCT, FLOOR DISTRIBUTION, REMOVAL

- Remove the electrical connector from the Power Inverter Module (PIM).

- Remove the screw (1) for the PIM bracket next to the ventilation door motor (2).

- Remove the PIM bracket arm screw (1).

- Remove the PIM and bracket from the vehicle.
- Remove both upper (1) and lower (2) screws to separate the PIM from the bracket.
