Diagnostic Test

- VERIFY IF THE DTC IS ACTIVE
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, read the active DTCs.
Does the scan tool display; U0140-00-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH BODY CONTROL MODULE as active?
Yes
- Refer to the DTC INDEX article and perform the U0140-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH BODY CONTROL MODULE diagnostic procedure.
No
- Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING and perform the STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTC diagnostic procedure.
