3.0L Diesel

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the air cleaner body.
  3. Drain the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  4. Remove upper radiator hose.

  5. Remove radiator fan assembly (3). Refer to FAN, COOLING, REMOVAL .
  6. Raise the vehicle.
  7. Remove the belly pan.

  8. Remove lower radiator hose (1).
  9. Lower vehicle.
  10. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, REMOVAL .

  11. Remove the air deflectors (1).

    CAUTION:

    Bolts are installed with threadlocker. Use hand tools to remove the upper radiator mounting bolts.

  12. Remove upper radiator mounting brackets bolts (3).
  13. Remove the upper radiator brackets (1) from the radiator supports (2)

  14. Remove the lower condenser mounting bolts.
  15. Remove the support bolt (2) located between the cooler lines.
  16. Using a suitable hanger. Support the condenser and remove the right side upper mounting bolt.
  17. Separate condenser assembly from radiator.
  18. Tilt radiator toward engine and remove radiator from vehicle.
