NOTE:

When the SRV actuator is removed, a new rubber O-ring seal must be installed. The old O-ring cannot be reused.

Install a new SRV actuator rubber O-ring seal (1).

Position the SRV actuator (2), install the retaining bolts (1) and tighten to 5 N.m (44 in. lb.).

Install the intake manifold and throttle body as an assembly. Refer to MANIFOLD, INTAKE, INSTALLATION or MANIFOLD, INTAKE, INSTALLATION, 5.7L or MANIFOLD, INTAKE, INSTALLATION .

Connect the negative battery cable (1).
