3.6L Dual Fan

  1. Install the fan blade (4) to the fan motor. Tighten the nut (3) to 6 N.m (50 in. lbs.).
  2. Position the fan motor assembly to the shroud (6).
  3. Install the bolts (2) that support the fan motor to the shroud. Tighten the nut (3) to 6 N.m (50 in. lbs.).
  4. Route the fan motor wiring harness (5) through the fan shroud (6).

  5. Position radiator cooling fan assembly (1) in vehicle.
  6. Guide the fan (1) into the lower radiator mounts (2).

  7. Install cooling fan mounting bolts (2). Tighten to 6 N.m (50 in. lbs.)
  8. Connect cooling fan electrical connector (1).
  9. Install the air filter housing. Refer to BODY, Air Cleaner, Installation, 3.6L or BODY, Air Cleaner, Installation, 5.7L .
  10. Connect the negative battery cable.
  11. Operate engine until it reaches normal operating temperature.
