LEVER, Gearshift: Removal: Assembly

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the upper and lower column shrouds. Refer to SHROUD, Steering Column , Removal .

  3. Disconnect the gearshift harness connector (5).
  4. Disconnect the shift cable (3) from the gearshift lever assembly (2).
  5. Remove the gearshift lever assembly mounting screws (4).
  6. Remove the gearshift lever assembly.
