Diagnostic Test

  1. MODULE CONFIGURATION 

    Does the scan tool display B1BBD-OCM CURRENT CONFIGURATION TABLE UNPROGRAMMED?

    Yes 

    Perform the B1BA7-OCS VERIFICATION REQUIRED diagnostic procedure. See DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Occupant Classification (OCM) - Diagnosis and Testing .

    No 

    • Replace the Occupant Classification Module in accordance with the service information.
      WARNING: If the Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) is dropped at any time, it must be replaced. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury.
    • With the scan tool, perform the OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION MODULE SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST. See DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Occupant Classification (OCM) - Standard Procedure .
