1 - Ignition Switch Assembly

2 - Shift Interlock Cable

1. Install shift interlock cable to ignition switch. Refer to Transmission and Transfer Case/Automatic - 40TE/CABLE, Shift Interlock - Installation .

2. Push ignition switch up into connect electrical connectors.

3. Install location "t" on ignition switch into slot on instrument panel.
4. Pull ignition switch into place.

5. Make sure that location pins are in place.

6. Install two front mounting screws and tighten.

7. Rear mounting screw and washer.

8. Install rear mounting screw and washer and tighten.

9. Connect two electrical connectors to the back of the instrument cluster

10. Relocate instrument cluster and install. Refer to Electrical - Instrument Cluster/Instrument Cluster - Installation .

11. Install instrument cluster bezel. Refer to Body/Instrument Panel/BEZEL, Instrument Cluster - Installation .

12. Install radio bezel. Refer to Body/Instrument Panel/BEZEL, Instrument Panel - Installation .

13. Connect negative battery cable.
14. Adjust shift interlock if necessary. Refer to Transmission and Transfer Case/Automatic - 40TE/CABLE, Shift Interlock - Adjustments .
