Possible Causes

Possible Causes 
ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM OPERATION
TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER PLUGGED
OPERATING IN LIMP-HOME MODE
TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH NOT ENGAGING PROPERLY

Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. See  DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Powertrain Control (PCM) - Standard Procedure
