2.2L TD: Notes

Follow practices prescribed by appropriate regulations for the handling, processing and disposing of dust and debris
  1. Remove transaxle assembly. Refer to REMOVAL .
  2. Mark position of pressure plate (3) on flywheel (1) with paint or scribe for assembly reference. See Fig 1.
  3. Loosen and remove six pressure plate-to-flywheel bolts. Remove pressure plate (3) and clutch disc (2).

  4. Remove eight flywheel-to-crankshaft bolts and remove flywheel assembly (1). See Fig 2.
