Diagnostic Test

VERIFY OPERATION OF THE ELECTRONIC OVERHEAD MODULE
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, erase Electronic Overhead Module DTCs.
3. With the scan tool, activate the Electronic Overhead Module self test.
4. Wait for self test to complete.
5. With the scan tool, read Electronic Overhead Module DTCs.
  Does the scan tool display: B2217-EVIC/EOM/CMTC INTERNAL?
  
  YES
  - Replace the Electronic Overhead Module in accordance with the Service Information.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Totally Integrated Power (TIPM) - Standard Procedure .
  NO
  - Test complete.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Totally Integrated Power (TIPM) - Standard Procedure .
