Sensor - Fuel Level: Installation: AWD

CAUTION: Whenever the fuel level sensor is serviced, the rubber seal (gasket) must be replaced.

Wipe seal area of tank clean and install a new seal (gasket) to fuel tank.

Connect fuel transfer tube quick connect fitting to fuel level sensor.
Position the fuel level sensor into fuel tank, line up sensor with mark made during removal procedure.

Install fuel level sensor lock ring (2) using special tool 9318. Tighten until the lock ring and fuel pump module is fully seated
Install fuel tank assembly, see INSTALLATION .
