1. Clean all sealing surfaces.
2. Install water pump (1) and gasket. Tighten mounting bolts to 12 N.m (105 in. lbs.).
3. Install timing chain guides and timing chain. Refer to appropriate Engine SERVICE INFORMATION article.
4. Install the accessory drive belts. See INSTALLATION .
5. Install the radiator fan assembly. See INSTALLATION .
6. Fill cooling system. See STANDARD PROCEDURE .
