Installation - GPEC Controller

- Install the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) (2) to bracket (1). Tighten bolts (3) to 5 N.m (45 in. lbs.).
- Install the PCM and bracket (4) to vehicle.
- Install bolt (2) to lower shock tower fastener and tighten to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).
- Install nut (1) to upper shock tower stud and tighten to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).
- Connect the electrical connectors (3) to PCM.
- Install Air Cleaner Housing. Refer to the appropriate service information .
- Connect negative battery cable and tighten to 16.5 N.m (145 in. lbs.).
- Reprogram radio stations and time.
- Program the PCM. See DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Powertrain Control (PCM) - Standard Procedure .
