Diagnostic Test

  1. CHECK THE TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE 

    Repair 

    • Check the Service Information Bulletins for any possible causes that may apply. If no problems are found, replace or repair the Transmission Control Module Assembly (TCMA) for an internal hydraulic leak or improper venting of the Clutch 1 hydraulic control circuit.
    • Perform the MPS6 VERIFICATION TEST. See DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Transmission Control (TCM) - Standard Procedure .
