Module-Powertrain Control: Removal: Pcm

NOTE: If a replacement (new) PCM is installed, a scan tool must be used to program (flash) the new PCM with vehicle specific information.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the PCM harness connectors.
  3. Grasp PCM and pull up firmly to release PCM from the retaining bracket.
