A single front washer system check valve (2) is standard equipment on this vehicle, and is installed in the front washer system plumbing. The check valve is integral to the plumbing fitting located in the washer plumbing between the front washer pump hose and the two front washer nozzle hoses. The check valve is located beneath the cowl top panel at the base of the windshield within the left rear corner of the engine compartment. The check valve consists of a molded plastic body with three barbed hose nipples, one at the inlet side (1) of the valve body and two at the outlet side (3).

The front check valve cannot be adjusted or repaired and, if ineffective or damaged, it must be replaced.
