Diagnostic Test

  1. TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION 
    1. With the scan tool, record and erase DTCs
    2. Operate the Passenger Window Motor in both directions several times.
    3. Cycle the ignition from on to off.
    4. Turn the ignition on.
    5. With the scan tool, read DTCs.

      Does the scan tool display 90A8-PASSENGER WINDOW CONTROL CIRCUIT - HIGH TEMPERATURE OPERATION?

      Yes 

      • Go to step  2

      No 

  2. WINDOW MOTOR 
    1. Remove the inner door trim panel.
    2. Check for any binding conditions in the regulator and track.

      Was any binding conditions found?

      Yes 

      No
