Diagnostic Test

- TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
- With the scan tool, record and erase DTCs
- Operate the Passenger Window Switch in all positions several times.
- Cycle the ignition from on to off.
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display 909B-PASSENGER WINDOW SWITCH STUCK?
Yes
- Go to step 2
No
- The conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. Check for any foreign objects, in the switch, that may cause a sticking condition. Using the SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. See DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Body Control (BCM) - Standard Procedure .
- PASSENGER WINDOW SWITCH MUX CIRCUIT PARTIAL SHORT TO GROUND
- Disconnect the Passenger Power Window Switch connector.
- Measure the voltage between the Passenger Window Switch Mux circuit and ground.
Is the voltage below 3.0 volts?
Yes
- Repair the Passenger Window Switch Mux circuit for a partial short to ground.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. See DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Body Control (BCM) - Standard Procedure .
No
- Replace the Passenger Window Switch in accordance with the Service Information.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. See DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Body Control (BCM) - Standard Procedure .
