Diagnostic Test

  1. INTERMITTENT CONDITION 
    1. Turn the ignition on.
    2. With the Scan Tool, clear all BCM DTCs.
    3. Turn the Headlamps on.
    4. With the Scan Tool read the DTC information.

      Does the Scan Tool read: 9009-RIGHT LOW BEAM CONTROL CIRCUIT LOW-BCM?

      Yes 

      • Go to step  2

      No 

  2. RIGHT LOW BEAM CONTROL CIRCUIT

    1. Turn the ignition off.
    2. Disconnect the BCM C7 harness connector.
    3. Disconnect the Right Headlamp harness connector.
    4. Measure the resistance between ground and the Right Low Beam Control circuit.

      Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?

      Yes 

      No
