Thermal Guard: Installation

NOTE: When replacing battery, the thermal guard MUST be transferred to the new battery.
  1. Slip the battery thermal guard over the battery being careful not to tear it.
  2. Install the battery into the vehicle, (Refer to ELECTRICAL/BATTERY SYSTEM/BATTERY - INSTALLATION - GASOLINE ENGINE) .
  3. Install the air cleaner housing (Refer to ENGINE/AIR INTAKE SYSTEM/AIR CLEANER HOUSING - INSTALLATION) or (Refer to ENGINE/AIR INTAKE SYSTEM/AIR CLEANER HOUSING - INSTALLATION) .
  4. Close hood.
