Diagnostic Test

  1. 1) ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL ALIGNMENT 
    NOTE: Vehicles that have had the suspension modified and/or a aftermarket grill installed that blocks the ACC sensor can cause the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system not to operate properly.

    Using the Scan Tool and the Service Information, perform the ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL ALIGNMENT Procedure.

    Was the ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL ALIGNMENT successful? 

    Yes 

    1. Test Complete
    2. Perform ACC MODULE VERIFICATION TEST . See STANDARD PROCEDURE .

    No 

    1. Ensure the lens is free of dirt, damage or other obstructions that would hinder the performance of the ACC imager lens. Inspect for vehicle damage the may not allow that ACC system to be aligned properly. Repair as necessary. If no problems are found, replace the ACC Module in accordance with the service information.
