Fuel Delivery: Removal

WARNING:
PLACE A SHOP TOWEL AROUND THE FUEL LINES TO CATCH ANY EXCESS FUEL DURING DISASSEMBLY.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Remove the fuel pump splash shield.
- Pinch off the fuel suction hose (6) and the fuel delivery hose (2).
- Disconnect the hoses from the fuel pump (4).
- Disconnect the fuel pump harness connectors (3).
- Remove the clamp retaining screw (1) and remove the fuel pump from the vehicle.
