Disconnect negative cable from battery
Remove the air cleaner box, (Refer to ENGINE/AIR INTAKE SYSTEM/AIR CLEANER HOUSING - REMOVAL) - 3.5L, (Refer to ENGINE/AIR INTAKE SYSTEM/AIR CLEANER HOUSING - REMOVAL) - 3.8L .
Remove throttle and speed control cables. See Fig 1.

Hold throttle lever in wide open position. Remove throttle cable and speed control cables from throttle arm. See Fig 2.

1 - Purge Line

2 - Throttle Position Sensor

3 - Idle Air Control Motor

Disconnect electrical connectors and purge line from throttle body. See Fig 3.
Remove 3 throttle body bolts.

Remove throttle body. See Fig 4.
Clean mating surfaces.
