- Disconnect negative battery cable.
- Remove the air box assembly,
(Refer to ENGINE/AIR INTAKE SYSTEM/AIR CLEANER HOUSING - REMOVAL)
- 2.5L or (Refer to ENGINE/AIR INTAKE SYSTEM/AIR CLEANER HOUSING - REMOVAL)
- 3.8L

- Generator location. See Fig 1.

- Unlock the field electrical connector. See Fig 2.

- Disconnect the field electrical connector from rear of generator. See Fig 3.

- Remove cover from battery cable on rear of generator. See Fig 4.
- Remove the positive battery cable from rear of generator.

- Remove the accessory drive belt. See Fig 5, (Refer to COOLING/ACCESSORY DRIVE/DRIVE BELTS - REMOVAL)

- Remove the 3 mounting bolts for the power steering assembly. See Fig 6.

- Relocate the power steering assembly. See Fig 7.
