Installation

Install the drive unit end of the link rod on its mounting sphere by gently pushing straight on.
Push the plastic retainer down to lock the mechanism in position.
Install the D-pillar trim on the vehicle. Refer to INTERIOR/EXTERIOR for the procedure.
Install the liftgate end of the link rod on its mounting sphere by gently pushing straight on.
Push the plastic retainer down to lock the mechanism in position.
Close the liftgate and check for proper power liftgate operation.
