Installation - Remote Compass Module

NOTE: LHD model shown in illustration. RHD model similar.
  1. Position the Remote Compass Module (RCM) (2) on top of the instrument panel (1) next to the steering column (4).
  2. Install the screws (3) that secure the RCM to the instrument panel.
  3. Connect the RCM electrical connector (5).

  4. Position the instrument panel top cover (1) onto the instrument panel (2) and engage the retainers that secure the top cover to the front of the instrument panel.
  5. Engage the snap retainers that secure the instrument panel top cover to the top of the instrument panel.
  6. Install the left and right A-pillar trim (Refer to BODY/INTERIOR/TRIM-A-PILLAR - INSTALLATION) .
  7. Connect the battery negative cable.
