Section 12 (Mechanical Brake System - Base (Service Information)): Lever: Removal

- Disconnect the front brake cable from the pulley unit.
- Remove the front brake cable from the hand brake lever. See Figure.
- Remove the circle cover. See Fig 1.
- Remove the bolts on the hand brake lever. See Fig 1.
- Pull the cover off the hand brake lever. See Fig 1.
- Disconnect the hand brake check switch and wiring harness from the hand brake lever. See Fig 1.
- Remove the hand brake lever. See Fig 1.
