- Place a piece of cardboard in front radiator core, to keep from damaging the radiator. See Fig 1.

- Place starter on lower crossmember. See Fig 2.

- Connect the starter solenoid connector to starter. See Fig 3.

- Install dust shield on nose of starter, making sure of proper orientation. See Fig 4.

- Loose install the upper mounting bolt.
- Loose install the middle starter bolt. See Fig 5.

- Loosely install the lower starter bolt, then tighten 3 bolts to 47 N.m (35 ft. lbs.). See Fig 6.

- Install oil cooler bracket bolt and tighten. See Fig 7.

- Install fan module.
- Install fan module clip. See Fig 8.

- Connect and lock electrical connectors to fans.
- Install wiring clips. See Fig 9.

- Tighten cable nut to 11.3 N.m (100 ins. lbs.). See Fig 11.

- Connect the electrical connector and lock connector to servo.
- Connect vacuum line to servo.
- Install servo to crossmember and tighten bolt. See Fig 12.
