Idle Air Control Motor: Removal: 3.8L

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Unlock and disconnect electrical connector from Idle Air Control Motor (IAC). See Fig 1.

    1 - Purge Line
    2 - Throttle Position Sensor
    3 - Idle Air Control Motor
  3. Remove IAC monting bolt.
  4. Remove IAC from throttle body.
