Transverse Bracket: Description

1 - TRANSVERSE BRACKET
2 - ENGAGE ACTUATOR
3 - LIFT GEAR AND ROD ASSEMBLY
4 - LIFTGATE MOTOR

The transverse bracket is used to support and secure the power liftgate gear/motor assembly to the left rear body D-pillar. The transverse bracket is a serviceable power liftgate component. See Fig 1.
