Lower Control Arm: Removal

Raise and support the vehicle.
Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly.
Remove the rear lower control arm plastic shield by removing the bolts (1) attaching the cover to the lower control arm.

Remove the rear spring (1). (Refer to SUSPENSION/REAR/SPRING - REMOVAL) .

Remove the rear shock absorber (1). (Refer to SUSPENSION/REAR/SHOCK - REMOVAL) .

Remove the rear stabilizer bar link (1) from the rear lower control arm.

Remove the bolt attaching the rear lower control arm to the rear wheel carrier.
Remove the rear lower control arm (4) from the vehicle.
