Windshield Wiper Blade Alignment

WARNING: THE WINDSHIELD WIPER MECHANISM CAN PINCH, CRUSH, OR IN EXTREME CASES, EVEN SEVER EXTREMITIES. ALWAYS REMOVE THE IGNITION KEY WHEN WORKING ON WINDSHIELD WIPER MECHANISM.

Remove both of the wiper arms (2). (Refer to ELECTRICAL/WIPERS/WASHERS/WIPER ARMS - REMOVAL) .

Turn the ignition switch to the ACC or ON/RUN position.
Rotate the multifunction switch to the LO position for approximately 2 seconds, then rotate back to the OFF position. Ensure the wiper arm pivots have stopped in the park position.
Install the wiper arm so the center of the blade (2) is aligned with the top of the dot matrix (1) on the bottom of the windshield and secure. (Refer to ELECTRICAL/WIPERS/WASHERS/WIPER ARMS - INSTALLATION) .
