Powertrain Control Module: Notes

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan, 2002 Dodge Caravan, 2002 Chrysler Voyager, 2002 Chrysler Town & Country, and 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: If Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is replaced, the correct vehicle mileage and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) must be programmed into PCM to prevent Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) from being stored in Controller Anti-Lock Brake (CAB), Smart Key Immobilizer Module (SKIM), if equipped, and Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC). If replacing PCM on models equipped with a SKIM, the secret key data must also be updated to enable engine starting.
