Steering Column Cover Backing Plate: Installation

  1. Install the steering column cover backing plate into vehicle (Figure ).
  2. Clip the Data Link Connector (DLC) to the steering column cover backing plate
  3. Install the screws attaching steering column cover backing plate to instrument panel.
  4. Connect the park brake release handle link to the park release handle.
  5. Install the lower steering column cover (Refer to LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER  ).
