Section 238 (DECKLID, Hatch, Liftgate &Tailgate): Latch: Installation

  1. Engage link and place latch in position on vehicle.
  2. Install screws attaching latch to liftgate. Tighten to 10 N.m (95 lb. in.) torque.
  3. Connect wire connector to liftgate latch.
  4. Verify liftgate fit and operation. Adjust as necessary.
  5. Install liftgate trim panel.
