Generator DECOUPLER Pulley: Removal

Release hood latch and open hood.
Disconnect battery negative cable.
Raise vehicle and support.
Remove the right front lower splash shield.
Remove accessory drive belt, refer to the COOLING SYSTEM section for proper procedures (Fig 1 ).

Lower vehicle.
Remove the Air Box.
Use Special Tool #843 (Fig 3 ) to loosen the Generator Decoupler (Fig 2 ).

Remove the tool.
Remove the Generator Decoupler.
