Camber & Caster: Notes
NOTE:
Rear wheel camber can be checked, but cannot be adjusted. If a substantial difference exists between camber specification and measured camber, check vehicle height (out of level), bent shock absorber (strut) or frame damage. Repair as necessary.
If front camber and caster does not meet alignment specifications, it can be adjusted using available camber and caster eccentric adjustment bolts. Before installing adjustment bolts on a vehicle found to be outside of specifications, inspect the suspension components for any signs of damage or bending. Replace components as needed.
CAUTION:
Do not attempt to adjust the vehicle's wheel alignment by heating, bending or by performing any other modification to the vehicle's front suspension components or body.
If front camber and caster readings are not within specification, use the following procedure to install camber/caster eccentric adjustment bolts, then adjust camber and caster.
