Lower Control Arm: Removal

  1. Remove coil spring. See COIL SPRING  .
  2. Remove stabilizer bar. See STABILIZER BAR  .
  3. Remove the lower ball joint. See LOWER BALL JOINT  .
  4. Remove the nuts from the lower control arm mounting bolts. See Figure .
  5. Carefully remove the lower control arm mounting bolts from the body and remove lower control arm.
