2. Orc Ground Circuit Open

Turn the ignition off.

Measure the resistance of the Ground circuit from the ORC harness connector.

Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms? 

  1. Yes  >> Go to 3
  2. No  >> Repair the Ground circuit for an open.
WARNING: WHEN RECONNECTING AIRBAG SYSTEM COMPONENTS, THE IGNITION MUST BE TURNED OFF AND THE BATTERY MUST BE DISCONNECTED.

Perform AIR BAG VERIFICATION TEST. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS .
