BELT ADJUSTMENT - (In Hertz Using DRBIII & Belt Tension Gauge Adapter)

3.3L & 3.8L (3) (3)
(1) DRBIII and Belt Tension Gauge Adapter (8371) must be used to check belt tension frequency. For procedure on checking drive belt tension, see appropriated COOLING SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS & DRIVE BELT ROUTING article in ENGINES.
(2) Used belt is a belt that has been in service for more than 15 minutes.
(3) Automatic belt tensioner is used. Belt tension adjustment is not required.
