Spark Check

Check for spark at spark plug wires No. 1 and 3 using a high output spark tester. Check spark plug wire resistance on suspect wires. Resistance should be less than 19 k/ohms. If resistance is greater than 19 k/ohms for any spark plug wire, replace faulty spark plug wire. On cylinders No. 2 and 4 that use coil-on-plug method, test ignition coil as necessary.
