Input Speed Sensor: Installation

  1. Verify O-ring is installed into position. See Figure .
  2. Install and tighten input speed sensor to 20 ft. lbs. (27 N.m).
  3. Connect speed sensor connector.
  4. Connect battery negative cable.


CAUTION: When disconnecting speed sensor connector, be sure that the connector weather seal does not fall off or remain in old sensor.
  1. Verify o-ring is installed into position.
  2. Install and tighten input speed sensor to 20 ft. lbs. (27 N.m).
  3. Connect speed sensor connector.
  4. Install the battery tray. See Figure .
  5. Install the battery and hold down clamp. See Figure .
  6. Install air cleaner assembly. See Figure .
  7. Connect battery cables.
